TLDR; set up tinder acct, matched w some girls, realize this could all be a set up and used against me. I know I should ask attorney. But every second w him =$$

So, our marriage has been dead for a while and the divorce train just got rolling. It’s been over a year since there’s been any intimacy or basic affection. We still live together and co parent our two children.

All those things: loneliness, am I still attractive, all that crap got the best of me and I downloaded tinder and made a discreet account just for the validation, and maybe just meet some new people and just have fun again. I’ve been miserable, and miss the fun of a simple date. No expectations, and definitely not for any type of real relationship.

Now this is where the paranoia kicks in.

I’ve gotten matches, some of which went over to text and I sent a head shot (non sexual) because my profile was discreet, as I said, and set up a date(s). I sent the head shot so we could recognize each other when we met. Public place, honestly just for coffee and a chat and who knows. Both times, after I sent the pic, the woman said “good to know” or something similar then immediately ghosted and unmatched. (I’m not terribly ugly) Whatever. I have a million things to do on a Friday night when I don’t have the kids.

Then I started thinking. Was this a set up? The women mentioned she liked bourbon and outdoor drinks. I’ve quit drinking a year ago, and my past drinking will be used against me to get custody. I told her I don’t drink. Because I don’t. It all felt like a trap ha.

It’s probably just my guilt and paranoia . But does anyone know how much such evidence could impact a custody case?
