So my boyfriend's dad and his girlfriend broke up a few days ago. They have been together now for 6 years ( just about). He doesn't want her in the house anymore but she's very persistent that she doesn't wanna leave either. We just moved into this new house too. His dad pays for most of the majority of things like the house, bill(water, electric, gas, phone, etc) while she will get groceries from time to time and just clean the house. We're worried that she's planeof filing for alimony or palimony, but can she if she's illegal? He's been divorced before and my boyfriend doesn't want his dad to go through that nightmare again!! What can he do? Can she really hurt him legally?
