Of course she wants to keep them full time. Of course you want to keep them full time. It will settle somewhere in the middle. Just because mom wants something doesn't mean she is going to get it. Your solicitor is going to fight for your best interest. It's not about earning power, it's not about who has a job or not. It's about both parents continuing to provide a safe nurturing environment for the children. Don't let the initial proceedings get you down. You'll have to adjust your life for your kids, but in the end it will be far more fair than you fear.

In the USA? So the states can extract the most amount of money from your breakup. Otherwise, it favors the mother because your countrymen allowed the politicians to make it this way.

Man tell me about it .. mine is a little nicer than yours. Wants to give me 10 days a month... But my question is why not 50/50. And mine doesn't even have a job. Hasnt worked in 10 years. At first wasn't planning on working for another 2 years when youngest in school. Keep saying I won't be paying her bills (although her mom is rich) and she can to to work. Now she's talking part time .. of course it's looking like she keeps the fully paid house and still wants alimony (yes I'm gonna xall a lawyer tomorrow.. mediator says her loan notes from mom ties her hands).

The nerve if these women. They think because they carried them for 9 months that means we have no rights and we have to plead to get custody. They don't have any more right to their kids than we do. I rarely hear of any dad demanding he has note than 50/50... You see we are actually reasonable and don't feel entitled to more. We also realize kids need both parents She is also making me feel like shit. I've even said if she wants a bit more to transition them for 6 months fine. Says in 2 years can be 50/50 when youngest is in gr 1. Why? Well I think she picked 10 days because I pay full child support then.. once it's 12 it's split incomes. The worst thing is mediator seems if anything is in her side. I don't trust that lady anymore. Anyways she's being a cunt and trying to tell me I agreed to 2 years... Which is bullshit. Women love to lie when it benefite them. Also paying for literally everything last few months because she can't get a job during covid 19
