Since the beginning of western civilization, cities placed convenience urinals all over the place, to make life easier for men who dont need toilets to pee in. Most of them consisted of just a cement partition with some

This made the cities feel friendlier. More accessible to men, especially older men that can't hold it as long. It made cities feel like they cared about men. A very simple and low cost move that really showed men that they mattered in society.

In some parts of the world, they did not remove all urinals. In Belgium for example, You can still find public urinals that date back to medieval times, that are still available for use. they don't look great,but who cares, it's a place to pee. Many were installed hundreds of year ago outside of churches for mens convenience, and others in random streets.
