A friend told me that FDS redditors are more likely to post on divorced or datingoverfifty subreddits.

That second screenshot is such a classic. Being buried in downvotes without a single reasonable reply. The response claims that downvotes should be the indicator that you are wrong, but that's absurd. Downvotes are the indicator that you upset people. If you upset them by being wrong, they would respond, explaining why you are wrong. You'd likely have 10 different responses, all saying the same exact thing, as if they are the only one saying it. But you have no responses, because they have no counter-argument. All they have is their rage at being called out, so they downvote and move on.

The initial comment there is completely right. When you are buried in downvotes with no logical responses, that's a pretty good indicator you are in the right. No one can refute what you said, they are just upset by it.

Very 1984, the acceptable format for hate obscures how the hate is neither necessary or symmetrical.

So interesting how they always need to get the demeaning adjective in: “fragile” and “pathetic.” The only thing wrong with AM hate radio was who the DJ was mad at. The danger of thoughtcrime is prevented by using the right context to demonstrate distance.

Like people trying to use fashion and pretty privilege for self-advancement, then complaining about being perceived in the public space, only virulent anger addiction sustains an obviously asymmetric power imbalance.

I think the mainstreaming of misandry is the true root cause of all the hatred we see today, rather than work within communities it was easier for a variety of radicals to keep expanding the definition of the hated men. But the same radicals never critique trans men or question how women reward and profit from toxic masculinity, it’s just #equity propaganda where true equality is actually hypocrisy, segregation, and discrimination.

I think that you’re wrong. I think you’d be hard pressed to find a group in the general populous that would laugh with someone who said that. A majority of the time if a girl were to say that it would be after a breakup or a traumatic event. Which would make sense for them to be comforted. The people who laugh with are feminists who make up a very small percentage of people.

And besides, I do see a lot of people talking negatively about women like they’re talking about all women, rather than just feminists
