It really bothers me that there are people out there that really go through life with this black and white filter about men and women. I realize I can’t and shouldn’t try to change peoples minds because they are entitled to believe what they want but then I hear all this talk about accountability and it’s like....by painting women as ‘saints/martyrs/saviors/etc’ we’re absolving them of any accountability for their own bad behavior.

Women are humans too—and all humans are susceptible to all the bad things like selfishness, greed, perversion, corruption, violence, etc. etc. but the way some women tell it, women aren’t capable of these things and more disturbingly, if they acknowledge these kinds of women, the excuse I often hear is “well she was probably forced to act that way by some evil man”. Again, no accountability.
