So, ive had a few experiences with shitty people that i wanna get off my chest. I used to have this friend, who was female, now trans, who used to insult me because i was a man. they said they wanted all men dead and that men are shit, even after they transitioned. they kept arguing to me about different things on my men suck and it was making me really uncomfortable. Eventually, while on a call with them and a few others, i said an honestly, quite dumb unfunny joke, that was not meant to be taken seriously. I was minecraft and someone destroyed a famous monument on the server and i said, "im gonna take away his womens rights." Yeah, maybe it wasnt the best thing to say, but also it literally was meant to be a joke. Every one jokes about history, like stupid wars and stuff, including my friend, who has made multiple 9/11 jokes and whatnot, but since i said "womens rights" and made fun of the fact that womens rights werent even a thing till like the 1920s, i was all of a sudden being a mysogynistic asshole (which they actually said.)

I tried explaining to them many times that it was a joke not to be taken seriously and i agree with equal rights but they just insulted me and called me names. Hearing someone call me a mysogonistic asshole over and over honestly made me really depressed, and i still think about it sometimes. I never wanna be mean towards anyone and i dont ever wanna hurt anyones feelings cause i feel mean. theyve made the same exact jokes directed at me and im not allowed to speak up or argue, but when i make the same joke i get belittled and harrassed.

It honeslty drove me to comtemplating suicide just because i was a man. They would say things like all men should be killed and i would ask "but im fine right?" and they really never said yeah, like they didnt care about me after weve been friends for 7 years. im honestly still really sad about it and i still feel bad because im a guy, like i had a choice. Luckily, im no longer friends with them but i still remember things like what happened and i still feel like it was all my fault because im a guy. It honestly really sucks and i hate having it linger in the back of my mind. it sucks a lot.
