False accusations may be a crime with jail time up to 14 years or whatever, but how practical is it to implement, considering the interests of the child are paramount, the most likely perpetrators are Mothers and conviction would be separating children from their Mother? I can't see it happening.

Perhaps a better approach is to deny the false accuser the benefit they are trying to achieve, which is usually garnishing the man's resources for support and minimising contact with the child: nullify child support and resource requirements from the accused to accuser. The accused and accuser are individually responsible for child support on the days they have them. All family resources are reserved for the accused and the accuser has to make their own arrangements elsewhere. That's a big incentive not to make false accusations whilst still keeping the child's interests in mind. I think children should still be given the choice who they spend their time with, on the understanding that the accuser is not entitled to financial support from the accused. This approach is consistent with criminals not benefiting from their crime.

This not good news. The Safe and Together Model being taught to Australian Family Court judges is a highly gendered and misandrist approach that frames domestic violence as men violence towards women.

Thus the initiatives on coersive control, and the use court processes as means to impact parental relationships with children, are all aimed at believing women, and characterising all men who claim to be victims of domestic violence as men exercising coersive control. Don't be fooled. This initiative is about instructing judges to treat all men a perpetrators of domestic violence who are dangerous to women and children.

This radical feminist ideological model, is a disaster for Family Law in Australia.
