They got the contract that they voted for. And now they decide that they could have made more money if they had of taken the men's contact that they didn't want at the time. So they want to retroactively null and void that previous contract and replace it with a more lucrative contact.

It doesn't work that way.

It's like going to the horse races, betting a $1000 on Buster Greenblatt to win, but instead Ghostface takes the win. And then demanding that you should still get the prize money because someone else got money for betting on Ghostface so you should too.

I hope that they are paying for their own lawyers in this fight because they're going to lose, lose, lose and the only winners will be the lawyers.

How much revenue from ticket sales, merchandising, television and radio rights, concessions, and advertising does the men's team bring in? Now compare those figures to the women's team. Are THOSE numbers anywhere close to equal? I'd wager that the men's team brings in more than ten, perhaps twenty times, as much revenue to the organization as the women's team does.

And the pay comes out of the revenue. It's directly connected to revenue. If women want equal pay, they should promote the women's team and have their fellow women become sports fans and stop trying to ride the dicks of the men who actually earn for the organization.

One thing to remember. Professional sports exist for one reason, to sell commercial spots. If no one watches, you can sell the spot, therefore you haven't earned them any money. Lol.

Women use words like "equality" and "equal pay" like a pry bar to take things they haven't earned, bit nonetheless feel entitled to because they exist.

Claiming that they should be paid as much as men is like a manager of a Wendy's demanding to be paid as much as the manager of a Gigafactory.

"But they're both managers!"

If women want what the men have EARNED let them try out for the men's ream. If they are equal then they will get those jobs and pay.

In dismissing the women's claim that they are paid less for the same work, Klausner pointed to differences in the structure of the men's and women's contracts — contracts to which they agreed in collective bargaining.

"The WNT [Women's National Team] rejected an offer to be paid under the same pay-to-play structure as the MNT [Men's National Team] and ... the WNT was willing to forgo higher bonuses for other benefits, such as greater base compensation and the guarantee of a higher number of contracted players," Klausner wrote. "Accordingly, Plaintiffs cannot now retroactively deem their CBA worse than the MNT CBA by reference to what they would have made had they been paid under the MNT's pay-to-play structure when they themselves rejected such a structure."
