Virtually every statistic you will hear from a feminist is made up. The surprise would be if one was actually accurate and properly sourced.

I would be interested in a survey of how many men have been sexually harassed by a woman.

I've been groped in a club. I've had a girls tongue forced down my throat by her friends pressuring me to let her kiss me. I've had a girl put my hand up her dress to show me how good her bra padding was (she put it under the bra). I've had inappropriate comments at work from women twice my age asking about my sex life, what age I was when I lost my virginity, how many girls I've been with etc.

And although it's different, I was also raped by an ex gf. I passed out from exhaustion in her bed after travelling for several hours after work to go see her. I woke up during the night with her on top of me putting myself inside her.

Men are supposed to 'enjoy' these though. I didn't. I felt gross.

I'm not even a particularly good looking dude and it's happened to me. I reckon a huge amount of men have been sexually harassed or assaulted too, and we just have a societal problem with all people and not just men.

I've made this point in another thread, but this is referring to the recent U.N & feminist organization survey which found 97% of women 18-24 report being sexually harassed.

The study is so incomprehensibly biased, and intentionally misleading that it should be classified as a crime against humanity. They literally only asked women questions, it had one of the smallest sample sizes of any study of this sort, and the publication has multiple errors, seemingly no statistical controls, and is of obscenely low quality. This freaking lobotomized piece of trash is a glorified online poll that was put together with the care of a high school class project, by a group which clearly specifically intends to hate men.

It also reports higher numbers than most studies because it literally asks the question 'Have you experienced being stared at?'

Other far more reputable studies have found that men in this age range experience less than a 3% difference in sexual harassment compared to women. source

This research by APPG for UN Women is a complete and absolute disgrace for an organization which claims to be pursuing equality. They aren't pursuing equality at all with completely one-sided school projects on issues which are demonstrated to affect men and women at virtually identical rates.

Besides this, women are the most egregious offenders of sexual harassment. Despite the fact that rates are reported to be virtually identical by victims, women admit they are perpetrators 39% less often than men. Women need to change in this area far more than men, and that is an obscene gap. They extremely frequently make fun of men's sexual orientation, genitals, history, prowess, endowment, etc. Women go around making men equally uncomfortable with far less accountability.

Everybody involved in rubber stamping this abysmal hate research needs to be in prison.

I suspect 97% of PEOPLE have been harassed at some point in their lives. A girl pinched my butt in a nightclub once (actually it's happened more than once) so presumably that puts me in the 97%

As others have said, It's terrible reporting by the media. They want to pain the narrative that men are evil so they'll report any nonsense that backups their own biases.

The concept of sexual harrasment is so nebulous today that it's meaningless. What normal rational people consider sexual harrasment and what woke feminist do is totally different.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics" is a phrase describing the persuasive power of numbers, particularly the use of statistics to bolster weak arguments. It is also sometimes colloquially used to doubt statistics used to prove an opponent's point.

The problem is that sexual harassment is very vaguely defined and that is on purpose. Practically even staring at a woman the wrong way can count as sexual harassment to some. Also, as others mentioned, the appearance of the perpetrator can greatly influence how the act is seen. So I wouldn't say it is an accurate statistic.

If you ask a very broad question, such as have you ever been made to feel uncomfortable, you would surely arrive at something close to 100% - for women and men. That is typically the source of strikingly high figures like that - and the claim that 20% of female students have experienced sexual assault (if I remember correctly, this counted positive answer to have you ever had sex even if you did not want to - in fact it is hard to see why only 20% said yes; I certainly would have).

UN Women is an institution that requires this kind of alarmism to justify itself - and institutions perpetuate and justify themselves, period. Or can you think of one that deliberately organised its own demise?

If you take the most nebulous interaction as sexual harassment then it arises everywhere.

By the feminists criteria every man I know has also been sexually harassed so I'm not sure what the point is.

If you ask a question as open ended as "have you ever experienced sexual harassment", and the response isn't 100% "yes" across both genders, then the data is immediately suspect.

Ok, so imagine this: you go to a workplace with 500 women, and you find that 485 of those women have been sexually harassed. That seems a little far fetched for me.

The 97% is fake news and you also have to take into account not all the 71% of women claiming sexual harrassment involved in the survey were being completely honest. I guarantee the criteria for what constitutes sexual harassment in the survey were so vague and unrealistic that half of those women weren't really sexually harassed at all. A guy asking you politely out or a date you aren't attracted to and reject is not sexual harassment but you will find many feminists out there claiming it is. That survey definitely had a feminist bias involved an therefore is immediately suspect.

The survey said 86% 28-24 in the UK, 96% is a hoax.
