The median percentage that the rate of severe assaults by women was of the rate of severe assaults by men is 145%, which indicates that almost half again more women than men severely attacked a partner.”

Absolutely. The level of mental abuse women can do to a man in a marriage or in a relationship is insane. On top of that, men have been conditioned to take this abuse as a joke and constantly being told, those are just ‘minor issues’. Fuck that! There is literally no benefit for a man getting married, why people still do it is beyond me.

That's a good one, and it goes in the same conclusions as a study I read a while back.

Basically it was comparing the rate of domestic assaults in differents kind of couples (hetero-normative, gay, lesbians). The study found out that lesbian couples are the most likely to commit domestic assault, most of the time it's mutual. The researchers concluded that without a "man" to "man up" and let the other have her way, then the conclict had more chances of being escalated.

Of course, the study was highly criticized by feminists because it also reported that most cases of domestic abuse was mutual and often initiated by the woman.

Maybe we should teach girls to not hit boys ?

Edit: important to note that they DON'T include sexual assault in their study. I'm not suggesting that that is good/bad or right/wrong, it just is:

"Symmetry, for purposes of this paper, is defined as approximatelyequal rates ofperpetrationof non-sexual physical assaults by male andfemale partners, or higher rates by female partners. Sexual assault isan extremely important form of violence, but is not covered in thisreview because there is no controversy about male predominance. "
