First and foremost, read the sidebar. It isn't a huge time commitment and it will explain all of the basic theories behind TRP.

Secondly, the 'search' function in this subreddit usually has multiple iterations of these questions. A prudent move is to examine past questions and answers before contributing.

To answer your question:

Keeping men around is called having "beta orbiters." A beta orbiter is a man who provides attention to a woman purely for that purpose alone. He is a means to an end.

Men and women are hypergamous. This means that they will always vie for the best sexual mate possible. Hypergamy comes into play with women when they decide with whom they will have sex. It comes into play for men when they decide with whom they will build a relationship.

Women are the gatekeepers of sex, men are the gatekeepers of commitment.

A woman keeps men around for abundance. They desire an abundance of attention and validation, but the men who validate them are almost never the ones who are having sex, unless it is an LTR.

The Red Pill men are the guys who understand that their attention, time, and commitment are more valuable than sex. The" top 20%" of men who can get laid by multiple women when they please. We "spin plates" which is the male equivalent to "orbiting betas." Meaning, we have multiple women offering sex much like women have multiple betas offering commitment. That is essentially 'the game'.

We can get sex without validating women. Women do not want to have sex with their betas. They use different men for different reasons, and even their fuckboy serves a specific role. They will always try to win the devotion of the fuckboy/alpha, because women are hypergamous, but the alpha only commits when he wants.

If you want a partner to remain loyal in the long-run, then you need to make it clear that the relationship is based on the exchange of sex and commitment. If the sex disappears, you disappear.

Whoever is less devoted to the relationship has the upper hand. If you're not committing but are receiving sex, then you are in power. If you are providing lots of attention but not receiving sex, she is in power.

Again, beta orbiters don't understand this, and that is why they are powerless. ~80% of men are powerless betas. Don't be one of them.

Ah, the humble beta orbiter. Beta orbiters are sort of like members of Chad's harem except it's all one way benefits. No sex for the beta orbiters but they provide validation, help, companionship, free dinners and all those things girls will otherwise take from men if they can get it.
