so, I'm not really on the TRP train yet, but I've noticed and dealt with certain patterns in my life recently.

I've noticed that women have a tendency when it comes to men they're not interested in. instead of saying "no" and distancing themselves, they give mixed signals or an unclear answer that might imply a possibility in the future. something like "I need more time to see if I have feelings for you" or "I need to focus on school/work/whatever now". Over time I got the impression that this is done to keep on receiving the benefits of a guy's affection or to save the guy for later, just in case. or to simply feed their ego.

essentially, this has led me to be more direct in my approach, so either I get a clear signal that she's interested, or I'm done with her and moving on.

I would like to get some feedback from you guys on the background of why women act like this. as a guy, I just can't see it from the other perspective. I would find interest from somebody who I don't find to be a suitable short-term or long-term partner as annoying. yet, there's this whole other perspective and I'm trying to learn as much as possible to orientate myself better when dealing with this.

cheers!
