Thousands of dads are left in shock as DIY paternity tests soar. Up to 30,000 tests are being performed every year, says Alphabiolabs. In the UK about 750,000 babies are born every year. Feminists want the test to be illegal without the written consent of the mother.

Mother-of-two, 40, falsely branded a neighbour a sex offender because he 'made too much noise building a guinea pig hutch in his garden'. It seems for many women if they do not get their way they make a false sex allegation knowing a man is not protected by the law.

Feminism wrecks the lives of 4 women.

What's new?

I rather think Mr. Knowland will do well out of this. He is eminently employable, and now famous and popular. Not so, Mr. Henderson. If he has to go, there are few who would want to touch him.

It is amazing how the underdog feminists are always able to overpower the oppressive PATRIARCHY enough to fire someone over saying things they don't like... but the patriarchy is always oppressing them.

Unfortunate they fired him.

But the YouTube video he posted was basically a 30 minute rant about how guys need to be more masculine nowadays.

Men have struggled enough with the idea that they need to be tough guys being shoved down their throats. There's no reason to continue pushing that narrative when so many men are suffering from it.

No. Men, and boys, are struggling because feminist have been pushing the idea that the experience of how better be a man of millions of men before us is not good, and some delusional ideas of people who are not men and have no idea how it feels should be imposed on the kids.

No, it wasn't.

He argued at length that the patriarchy is an important part of society and we need to continue to feed those gender roles rather than shying away from them.

He argued the patriarchy and traditional gender roles were sex driven not society driven. And steering away from those roles would have negative consequences.

What did you think the overwhelming idea was?

[–]mikesteane 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Common sense.

[–]ObviousObservationz -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I see. I'm guessing you didn't watch it. Watch it when you have time. Its interesting. Just not my idea of the direction society should be looking.

[–]mikesteane 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I've watched most of it. It seemed just to be a load of common sense, so I stopped about 2/3 of the way through. Not really a question of the direction society should be looking, it's more of an interpretation of the facts and evidence related to gender differences and their social expression. His main point is that the evidence points squarely to the fact that "greater gender equality in society leads to gravitation towards traditional gender norms." Looking away from the evidence is the behaviour of fools, and acting with disregard to it, is the behaviour of a foolish society.

Edit:

But the YouTube video he posted was basically a 30 minute rant

followed by:

He argued at length that the patriarchy is an important part of society and we need to continue to feed those gender roles rather than shying away from them.

and:

Its interesting. Just not my idea of the direction society should be looking.

So, it's a rant, an argument at length, and interesting. Your take is somewhat inconsistent.

What can you replace patriarchy with?
