Sure, I was reading on to what you might be implying, which is why I said to make your point clearly.

Other men don't care about men.

That's in line with gamma bias as a general rule thumb, but rather reductive. In general people of both gender's don't care about men, and absolutely prioritise the welfare and desires of women.

Other men created these systems that oppress men. So if you really want to deconstruct the system wouldn't you speak to the other men who built it and continued to perpetuate the issue in the first place?

Funny you should talk about false equivalence later on in your response. You've just falsely equated policy-makers / parliament / legislative bodies with men. Regardless of the large amount of male representatives in these roles, these people are not doing these jobs focussing on their own gender - because there's every likelihood these "systems" would be the same if these policy making roles were dominated by women. It's hard to speak in greater detail regarding this point because you are talking vaguely about "these systems" and I'm assuming a shadowy cabal of powerful men who are responsible for all men.

As someone else has noted, legislative power and policy-making is almost always exercised in the name of and favour of women (case in point; we have a Minister for Women and none for Men).

If you're suggesting that men are responsible for all policy making, laws, and other changes, and not women then you've just discredited the successes of suffragettes, the feminists of every wave, and any other political group led by women for the advancement of women. This would be a particularly interesting belief to have because if you also believe in feminism and that women have made great changes in policy making and legislation then this would be a great example of orwellian doublethink.

Plus, what you are speaking of is a false equivalence. Black people and people in the LGBTQ community are not oppressing themselves. Black people didn't create slavery in America. The LGBTQ community didn't create homophobia. However, the system that you are complaining about were mainly established by other men.

Let's look at the axiom's of this paragraph.

Black people as a "group" are not oppressing themselves.
LGBTQ people as a "group" are not oppressing themselves.
Black people didn't create slavery in America.
The LGBTQ community didn't create homophobia.
The "system" (presumably Family Court specifically in this case) was established by men.
Thus, it is false to equate men fighting the oppression of men in our modern society with black people fighting their historical oppression or LGBTQ fighting their own.

Firstly, Points 1 and 2 are irrelevant, as men as a "group" are not oppressing themselves. See my paragraphs above, especially the points relating to the apex fallacy.

Point 3 and Point 4 are tied to demonstrating points 1 and 2.

Point 5. One of the biggest flaws with family court can be tied back to the Tender Years Doctrine. This came about in the mid 1800's at the hands of Caroline Norton. And if this is the major change in family court that made it systemically oppressive to men then your claim would mandate that Caroline was a man, unfortunately, Caroline Norton was definitely a woman_society_beauty_and_author_by_GH,_Chatsworth_Coll..jpg). Tender Years Doctrine gave women the custody of children but maintained that men keep sole financial responsibility. Very recently, the Tender Years Doctrine was replaced in name but not spirit with the Best Interests of the Child Principle, and the way Family Court is conducted is heavily influenced by the way the UN, the NOW, the VAWA and other feminist ideologues and icons such as Mary P Koss have brainwashed our society into believing only men are capable of domestic violence/abuse and only women are the victims. Now, why did I go to lengths to inform you of your ignorance regarding the systems of Family Court? Because for us to have an intellectual discussion we both need to be informed. Just because the broken system of Family Court was actually changed by a woman does not mean it is women's fault, just as your assertion that "men making the systems that oppress other men = men's fault" is grossly incorrect, so would it be if I had the audacity to blame the system of Family Court on women.

The faults in Family Court lie in cancerous ideology born from Feminism. It lies in gamma bias. It lies in the domestic violence industry being broken and sexist.

And that is not the fault of men, or women.

They’re male issues because they affect men first and foremost. It’s that simple. Unlike feminists, I don’t think most MRAs view the genders as classes competing against each other. We recognize that members of a sex can cause members of the same sex to suffer due to their sex. Moreover, even if men are in charge society at large, which consists of men and women, is capable of influencing them strongly. To me and most others who are sympathetic to the MRM, the cause of the issue is less pressing than who is being affected by the issue, and how to fix the issue.

Incidentally there are also some issues frequently talked about in feminist circles (including slut shaming and even female genital mutilation) which seem to be most strongly enforced by women. Does that mean they are no longer female issues? I would say no, it doesn’t mean that at all. I’m guessing you would agree.

The answer is libertarianism, liberals want us to go into a dystopian future where men have no rights, conservatives want us to go to into the past where both men and women had little rights, libertarians want freedom for everyone
