Well since I'm old and since I'm male, my shoulders are all jacked up. I still work out, but I routinely dislocate in my sleep, or sometimes at the gym. So needless to say, there are days, I'm really not in the mood to git smacked around.

The other day was one of those days, and I flat out rounded on my wife and yelled "stop fucking hitting me, it hurts" (and it did). That day my shoulder was pretty much useless and she made perfect contact in the worse possible way. She was less than pleased at the confrontation.

Wasn't till that moment that I did an mental inventory of how many times a week I get punched. It's a lot. She thinks it's a flirtation I guess it probably was years ago. Now I'm having to get her to seriously evaluate how she shows her affection.

Dr. says my shoulder won't hold much longer (old and male), and I'll need surgery soon. Last thing in the world I need is to get caught on the shoulder with a left jab after dropping $10,000 on a new hardware.

Certainly not the most import issue in a mans world, but had always thought there was something about that Elaine character that was kinda cringe worthy.
