I feel like a lot of the wage gap arguments are really ignoring a huge flaw, that women like to take multiple years off career wise when they have children. This means they earn less experience, but demand the same pay.

There's also resume gap, that's a red flag for employers. Was she on maternity, jail, unemployed? I don't know if potential employers can even ask about it. You just may not get an interview.

The wage gap can be debunked by simply reading the very reports cited by those who claim it exists. They explicitly state they are not comparing wages of men and women with similar jobs, but median incomes of all men vs all women. They go out of their way to make clear they don’t control for job, education, age, hours worked, or anything. Feminists know this, which why they have changed their tune to claim “women’s work is not valued” (e.g. nurses paid less than surgeons).

Men work average 4-5 hours/week more than women too. Over a period of a year, it's 200 hours. That's 1 month of extra experience.

Men are not only more experienced in years, even within each year, they have a hidden 1 month extra. Which reflects in his work expertise.

As the saying goes 'everything is worth what the purchaser will pay for'.

I am afraid they will pass a law that will subsidize females from the budget. Yes, you would directly get money because of your gender. Of course paid from guys taxes. It would replace the dropping marriage rates. I see this coming in the next 10 years.

There are many factors when you talk abput the "wage" gap like what you job is, what position you are, how you present yourself, experience in that field, there are so many factors that feminists overlook.

They just target gender and say things like "A women makes .85 cents for every 1 dollar a man makes" and my response to that is why then do companies and businesses hire men when they can make a bigger profit off of a full female workforce

Job field. Job qualification. Full-/part-time Years of experience. Days sick. Overtime (voluntary). Asking for salary increases. Confidence in skills (career advance). Risk-aversion (employer, career, ... )

Just to call a few. If I remember right, only first two as 'adjusted wage gap' reduce the difference less than 1/3's of the original wage gap. And there might be over a hundred of factors for different pay, modificating in both directions. So referring to the wage gap for most arguments is flawed in the beginning, if you don't argue salary differences between fields (but f.e. - offer/demand, intrinsic motivation for more social jobs, self-efficacy)

When men and woman are equally qualified for a position, employers have a bias towards hiring men (in general, obviously this can vary from profession to profession)
