What do you think of that?

Do you think a man should have a right to defend himself if he is being assaulted by a woman?

How is America going to get other countries to respect their people's rights if it doesn't even its own respect people's rights?

The radical feminists who think that women who are pregnant with males should have to be required by law to have an abortion are very horrible and hypocritical!

The whole "he'll get made fun of in the locker room" thing is one of the dumbest excuses there is for circumcision!

The marriage rate is declining in America (Do you think a big reason has to do with the fact that a man usually has more to lose in a divorce than a woman does?)

It seems we live in a world where most men are seen as bad while most women are seen as good, and that men can never be seen as victims

There are some radical feminists who actually think that the world would be a better place if there was no men in it or if the male population was reduced to 10 percent.

It seems that male children are also treated disposable when compared to female children

Isn't it strange how feminist have no problem to blame the victims when the victims are male.

I think she lied about which gender commits domestic abuse more.

Edit: I'll rephrase, I know she lied.

Shouldn't it be NewStatesperson? I have seen these arguments in other publications, they're almost word for word. They use statistics to show that there are far fewer misandrist "victims" of hate crime. They insist that misogyny is societal and deeply entrenched. All pretty thin in my opinion. It doesn't take into account that males are less likely to report crimes by females when they are the victims.

I understand that in the U.K., Members of Parliament are discussing enacting a law to make misogyny a hate crime and that misandry is pretty much off the table.

They insist that misogyny is societal and deeply entrenched.

The exact opposite is true.

Still a pretty stupid arguement to make. You cant just leave behind a demographic just because theyere affected less. You cant deny help from suicide helplines to women just because men commit from suicide

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Absolutely, my argument, too. If they passed a bipartisan law, maybe males would be comfortable reporting crime, when they are victimized.

"78 per cent of perpetrators of violent crime are men"... Lets pretend those figures are correct (they're not, as it is widely accepted that violence committed by women against men is grossly under-reported).

That still means nearly a quarter of women are responsible for violence. More if you count those who get away with it due to victims staying silent. Women are always critical of victims blaming unless it's men. Too often I see feminists say stuff like "but what happened previously to cause her to do this" or "why did she feel the need to do that", stop justifying female perpetrators!

The fact is that even a quarter is a very high number that makes misandry a very real threat to men in society, and if misogyny is a hate crime then so is misandry. ABUSE HAS NO GENDER.

Men also commit majority of homicides.

Looks like you've literally not read a word I've wrote. What's your point and what does this have to do with misandry?

[–]smartfox10 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You claimed majority of violent perpetrator being men is not true. It definitely is, the stats don't lie.

[–]lancashirehotpot91 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I claimed no such thing.

[–]Leinadro 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I think its a crock of shit.

It's basically arguing "Since A happens more than B, A should be treated harshly and B and should treated leniently."

[–]Wisemanner 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Exactly. It's the line of argument feminists use often. It's the same as arguing because male cases of breast cancer are rare, male victims should not be treated.

[–]Long-Chair-7825 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't give them any ideas.

Feminism is a hate crime on its own
