Some of these (such as swans, wolves, and vultures) do cheat. The males will try to spread their seed and the females will try to cuckold their partners and mate with hotter males. That said, monogamy certainly is quite natural to them compared to, say, humans. None of the silly serial-monogamy (with some polygyny thrown in) that we tend to practice.

Others, such as eagles and beavers, probably have almost perfect monogamy due to their strong introversion.

I've always adored beavers. They choose a partner and build a nice cozy house together to raise their kids in. So cool.

What a coincidence! About 2 or 3 days ago me and SO were browsing YouTube and there was a video titled something like "do animals practice monogamy?"

He didn't get it. I thought it was cute. That's what being a girl gets you lol

Anyone know the official RPW view on monogamy. Has anyone written a blog or article on the topic.
