I dont know PA well but my cousin (female) got help from a legal aid type place, its free generally.

Also take advantage of free consultations. I run a business and rotate a fee lawyers for the free hour of advice. Go to one, research what they say, go to another one and ask clarification on more and keep hopping until i have a better grasp.

I read your plight and that's ridiculous. I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm not sure what routes and avenues you've already researched to find help after being met with negligence from this city, but instead of firms, have you tried Legal Clinics? They normally take civil cases. Also a lot of them have a directory for cases such as the one you describe. They may not all turn out to be Pro bono, but they charge much much less. I'm not sure about PA specifically, but there is a national directory for people to find help at either a fraction of the cost or Pro Bono, especially if they have been met with negligence or mistreatment by the system and you most definitely have been wronged in this by what I've read. Also, look into lawyers that work off of contingency. If you do plan to sue, which I feel you have a good case for it, then the lawyer will take a percentage of the settlements you get from winning your case. I really hope you can come out on top. I have a family home that's been passed down to me from my elders and I'd be devastated at the audacity of someone trying to take it from me so spitefully. You signed a legal living agreement with this person, if I'm understanding correctly and it's just been ignored?? And yes come down hard on the police that should have been there to lawfully make sure that YOU were able to get your things given the fact that you had a damn court order to get your things. Keep filing complaints, keep recording all interactions with them and her as it seems you've been doing. I can look for helpful links and if I come across any, I'll shoot them in a message to you. Keep your head up and keep fighting.
