They quite honestly needed to rethink their entire strategy. I can't believe they went in for that latest round arguing that men deserved more money because they had harder games to play and harder circumstances around the games.

When this is all dissected years from now, it's going to come down to the fact the USSF didn't want to argue sales drive wages, even though it's the best, most defensible argument.

The reason they are payed differently is because the contracts they sign are different. The men’s teams contracts are entirely based off bonuses from scoring/blocking goals and other important parts of the sport, while the women’s team has half bonus half salary contracts, which is less risky with a lower average wage. The men’s contracts are riskier but have a higher average wage.

They get 13% of revenue and men get 9% of revenue, the percentage is their salary, period. If they want more, convince audience to view their sports.

A sport that involves guys throwing themselves to the ground after getting lightly touched is already full of simps, so this is not surprising.
