If a woman forgets her birth control or takes it while pretending they're working on having a baby that sub will always rally to her side. Or if they have a plan before marriage regarding kids and she unilaterally changes it he's the asshole for being upset.

But op being very clear from before the marriage that he will never want kids is an asshole for saying exactly what he meant.

It makes me think we should make more noise about government funded vasectomies in a male-oriented clinic, the way women have planned parenthood. (Like that would happen... HA!)

I do think that guy is a asshole. Having or not having children is one of the most important decisions in life. they can't be together if they disagree on that.

I see no double standard, in this particular case.

Vasectomies are not illegal. It would be grounds for annulment in the Catholic church. For legal divorce no grounds are needed.

Men have no ability to control their reproduction at this time. There is no “pill” for men. All you have is condoms and those well... ya know.

I don’t think it’s a conspiracy by women against men. Actually it’s more like men have pushed off all responsibility for procreation onto women. Men are the doctors that created all the birth control methods. Why didn’t they create any for themselves?

This strikes me more as a karma situation. Men avoiding the responsibility of birth control right up until it bites them in the butt. IMHO.
