She literally bought the fucking jeans, which not only demonstrates that she didn't actually care enough about the pockets to check them out in the first place but demonstrates to the clothing company that made it that there is a market out there for women who want jeans without functional pockets. Wherever she bought this from, probably indicated that there was a fake pocket design(this is also fairly common with men's jackets too). How would this even be men's fault? Blame the people who designed these pants(likely women, for women) and the women who keep buying them.

Once upon a time:
MEN used POCKET WATCHES.
Ladies wore wrist watches.
There was no need for watch pockets on ladies "pants".
Men began wearing wrist watches during World War One. It seems Trench Warfare and watch chains didn't get along all that well.

Side note:
Males wear "Trousers". Females wear "Pants".
If you have difficulty remembering the difference; under trousers you wear "shorts" or "briefs". Under pants one wears "panties". If one has an underwear fetish, make your own fashion statement.

Wow, what a stupid human being.

Every normal person makes sure that what they are buying is actually what they want.

With clothes, you try them on, stick your hands in the pockets and otherwise make sure that what you are buying works correctly and is as advertised. This is common sense, isn't it?
