Other equally vocal, equally scummy women that use the power of privilege and trial by social media to rise above. Feminized men that run companies (Ex: Twitter) and in a place of legal power that happily cave and cater to these people.

As soon as you mention men's rights you're labeled as a misogynist, incel, woman hater etc. In what context do you mean stronger? Physical strength is not relevant here. 'Feminists' protest any kind of men's rights protest because they call it anti-women, hateful etc when it is the feminists that are these things - not the men. We want true equality.

It's acceptable to be anti-men these days, baby steps are happening and some are waking up to why this is wrong but there's still a long way to go. I happily support any mens rights protest or politicians that acknowledge the current power imbalance in society.

The fact is that we should not need to.

Feminism like all things has been corrupted. This is not what it was supposed to be.

Female empowerment would not be a thing if the world was equal to begin with, but it wasn't. You need to live in a country where the laws aren't so solid.

So women taking up the banner to fight for their rights is not wrong. I fully support it and would make spaces like all men should for women to stand right beside us.

This war against inequality is no one's fault truly. Men were just born superior in ways that were very important in the past. Strength and size. In older days these traits were so important, because the world was a lot less convenient for human beings. So women were needed in the background, in the places that the men could not reach. To hold up the family and to hold up the man. This was so for a very long time.

But as convenience became the name of the era, with guns rather than spears, food sold in stores and especially jobs that aren't solely physical labour, more positions opened up that women could fill, but the world was already so used to them playing background roles that it became their permanent role.

When I was younger, I didn't know women could be doctors. I thought a nurse was the female version of a doctor.

Their roles being stapled to the background for so long made women tired and frustrated. The world had gotten easier to live in. They wanted to be allowed to help out more, take up jobs that actually have meaning (aside from being a parent. Most meaningful job).

They wanted to take up new responsibilities and feel like they could stand beside their husbands, brothers and male friends and say they are fully part of the process making the world work.

The fact that they were not allowed to be more than decoration for the homes.

This bred the strong woman, the woman that set out to prove anything is possible in this 'man's world'. A woman that can achieve as much or more than some of the men around her.

The world slowly came to recognize her strength and is trying to acknowledge it. It will make mistakes sometimes and some people will be assholes, but feminists have to slow the aggressive nature of their recent campaigns.

The truth is that men can be entitled assholes. Not just the bad people, even good men fall to it unknowingly.

The fight for women's rights is as real as the fight against racism, but like the fight against racism it has been corrupted to be something else because people don't fully understand equality.

One of the problems is people's understanding of equality. Equality does not mean ignoring your differences, it means respecting your differences and working with them to progress.

Hollywood seems to have that wrong as most of their strong female characters these days are just men played by actresses.

Below are some great things about our current world that have become of the problem.

• Gone are the days when only reknowned studies on a subject can get a public speech. In the world we are currently living in, anyone can pick up their phone and throw out a comment or video that the entire world will see, but assholes exsist on both sides. This kind of ease allows both misogynists and misandrists will be heard and will start fires with what they believe is the correct opinion.

• Movie making is no longer restricted to Hollywood, hence anyone can get their opinion made into a movie and there will be an audience for it.

• Critics are getting criticized and now feel they must pander to demographics and opinions to make sense. Hence a movie's message is now more important than its quality or merit as a movie.

• Hollywood's need for more empowered female characters to grace the screens has led to the muddling of the message and the creation of unwatchable tools of empowerment rather than organic movies that create the feeling of empowerment through good writing.

This is just the way the world is. Anything -and I mean anything at all- created for a good reason will be corrupted the longer it stays around. People will start using it further agendas or people will confuse the message. Or times will change and the message will no longer seem as righteous as it once did.

Like the way some parts of the bible can be read as misogynistic. Adulterous women are stoned to death and the men are exiled.

Feminism is quickly becoming misandry and sexism in whatever form is wrong.

Yet, the reason I believe that men should remain in defensive protest -like they are on blogs and YouTube- is the same reason I'd advice anyone not to rise to the heat of an argument.

You might start a fight.

And a war between men and women -silly as it might sound- will be without a doubt the end of humanity.

Unless I missed something, I believe the only thing his sister really said of him was that he was undergoing therapy from being abused and having a mental illness. Though she did of course sprinkle in some “believe survivors” bs because when being an openly self-proclaimed feminist is a core part of your personality, being neutral in a potential “man vs woman” allegation is a sin, especially if sex is relevant.

Truth is, we don’t know how much we can even trust her word. She wasn’t involved, clearly has an agenda, and I’d say it’s a bit of a stretch to believe someone would know everything about their sibling’s life.

The man’s dead but the only one that can accurately detail the situation is himself unless there was a third party involved that hasn’t spoken up yet.
