It's not that those "young white men" are speaking out and battling what amounts to a hate group that is pushing misandry and discriminatory practices against men...it's that it is a problem with young white men.

Keep on mind that Feminism functions as a religion. So when you look at this, imagine 100 years ago a woman finding out her husband was holding seances and communing with the devil. That is the level of outrage and irrationality.

Reminder that reddit womens subs are not what ordinary women think. Only a fraction of the population is feminist. Most women do not want to be feminists because they correctly assess it is a man-hating movement. Don't let them gaslight you into thinking this is normal. Feel free to be open about your opinions on this topic with the women in your lives.

There's also some real internet tough woman shit going on here because this is the politically correct answer they have to give in order to avoid being abused by the other (single) feminists there. The point is to gaslight men into feeling scared of standing up for themselves. Do not fall for it.

My boyfriend used to look at those videos before we started dating. Ive completely changed his perspective on feminism since then (3 years later). He genuinely thought all feminists were the types in those videos (usually TERFs) and that's why he wouldn't consider himself a feminist even though he agrees with the ideology that men and women are equal. After a few rational discussions over the past couple years he now will say that he is a feminist and understands that the cringey minority doesn't represent the majority of the movement at all.

So she forced her boyfriend to identify with a group of people who consider him to be human garbage.

Sounds like a healthy relationship to me!

Quite a number of those responses are actually proposing discussing the issue with him. But I'm looking at this 11 hours after you posted this on r/MensRights, the people commenting now aren't the same kind of person that scrolls through new posts on r/AskWomen.
