Just because the truth doesn't come off as being dick-ish or controversial doesn't make it diluted or artificially flavored. TRP got its bad reputation because a good amount of the time things are taken too far, or people are unnecessarily mean towards women when they're just bitter.
Edit: if you disagree, please explain why we're such a hated sub.

Yeah. That pesky little equality thing
I feel like while you guys are trying to balance yourselves many people here dont realize that what affects them isnt exclusive to men. Theres inequality on both sides but I appreciate anyone trying to assert themselves and react to the world in their favor. It just comes off super anti women a lot because its stated as anti women rather than "pro-myself." If that makes sense.

Well the equality comment was meant to be in humor. But thank you for expressing clearly exactly what I was thinking about the sub. Great explaination

reddit gives image of liberal democratic non racist site , but if you check r/worldnews or r/funny on MLK's day you see redditors can be as racist if not more than fcking stormfront . Reddit is just a popular site with lots of different people , i'm not here to convert them into redpillers ,i'm here for my self improvement and happiness . I don't want to end up like my father or his brothers or my cousins who all got divorce raped and still paying alimony .

"Wolves do not concern themselves with the opinion of sheep."
Or my way of saying it: "There is no value to being 'socially acceptable' when society is hell-bent on self-destruction"

Did... did you just "howl?" On reddit? Jesus...

It's goofy as hell. I was just imagining someone doing that in real life and it's quite the ridiculous mental picture. On the plus side I got a good laugh.

What makes you think society is hell-bent on self-destruction? Society's rules exist for the benefit of society, usually at the expensive of an individual.

What makes you think society is hell-bent on self-destruction?
Crowdism, and the results thereof.

Generally you get (perfectly fine) answers about not giving any fucks and what have you. But I read a great post on here the other week explaining the perception of TRP, and it made me think our perception isn't just an unfortunate side effect. I quickly looked and couldn't find it, but it went something like this:
We started with PUAs, men sharing ideas on gaming women and improving themselves to do so more effectively. When Strauss' 'The Game' brings PUAs into the mainstream, things start to change. The influence of feminists (and certainly others that disprove of game) ultimately hurts the community, leaving men shamed out of taking the pill and littering the PUA community with misinformed and sometime downright blue-pill ideas.
My general perception of PUAs has been people who want red-pill benefits without any of the work - a magic list of words that will get sluts to fuck them. Of course, sometimes they are successful - they're approaching hundreds of easy girls – and you can see where this goes. Blind mice finding cheese, broken clocks telling time and all that. So where does that leave us?
Enter TRP, a community that thrives on unfiltered sharing of knowledge yet comes across as so sexist and toxic that no one will touch us. Most feminists would rather just circlejerk about 'muhsohgny' and oppression. So we are left with a safe place to discuss theory and field reports and whatnot that also naturally repels anyone not looking for it. And while yes, more men should have access to red-pill knowledge in today's world, this community and those like it have never been causes to advocate or push onto others. TRP is something you have to want badly enough to seek.

This is fucking stupid. It isn't our job to give anybody else a sense of self worth. The ideas presented here do not depend on the number of believers. If they don't want to be here, good. It makes no difference to us. We aren't campaigning for any kind of change.

What do we care if soft people have trouble putting aside their own need to be coddled to the point of not being able to listen to the truth? This is not a marketing campaign. We are not running for office. Here is what we think. If you don't like it, that doesn't stop me from thinking it. Hell even if you do like it, what difference does that make to my life?
I am here for ideas. Any talk of feelings, togetherness, community, and wanting to please with a positive social front goes against the spirit of this place. Let the quality of the discussion speak for itself. Enough with this pandering to the masses.

My point was that we could only "unplug" more guys, and help more people. Fuck me right?
