"The accused was forced to provide intimate samples..." These would be compared with samples taken from the accuser, yet many women refuse to be examined or have samples taken. Why don't the police wait until they have something from the woman to compare the samples to before subjecting men to this indignity?

So we're constantly being told women just don't lie about rape while constantly hearing stories of women lying about rape seemingly at random and for no dicernable reason.

This is despicable, The innocent party in all this has his name dragged through the dirt, suffers the humiliation of being arrested in public, held against his will for almost a day. And yet, the perpetrator in all this still has her anonymity.

But the judicial system is, so they say, impartial!

Prosecutor Geoff Whelan said: 'If it were not for that tracker data Mr Yousaf may have found himself on trial for rape because the defendant made up a story about him.

Yeah good thing he could prove his innocence, otherwise he'd likely be in jail based solely on an accusation.

How lucky he is to be a man under the Patriarchy.
