Well that last one is a massive false equivalency, even though I agree with the morality behind the statement. It's okay to recognize that the unique struggles men and women face are not always "equal" or the the same.

This is true. Men and women can both be abusers, and it is never right. The only caveat is that it is more likely for a man to seriously injure a woman. One quarter of women killed in the US are killed by a current or former lover.
