Do you think there are certain traits that make some women more addicted to Bod Boys than others?

Women don't like bad boys, they like alpha males. It just happens that an easy way to display alpha traits is by being an arsehole. As for moving on, there is an absence of non-arsehole alpha males, so many just settle for a beta provider, whereas some like alpha traits so much they stay with the 'bad boys.'

Surprised nobody has mentioned the influence of a woman's relationship with their father on such a topic...

Some women I know can still settle down with a sweet, nice guy even if they find him annoying on occasion. There are other women I know though who just float from one bad boy to the next, never quite learning their lesson.

I wonder what traits make some women more addicted to bad boys than others?

Yet there do seem to be some women who just have a pattern of dating these guys, while there are other women who snap out of it and move on with their lives?

ANY girl that EVER in her life had a fling with an alpha will ALWAYS remember that time as the best in her life, and despise the beta she had to settle for. they snap out of their alpha dating either because

a) they already have been impregnated and left by said alpha and now is looking for a provider for her thugspawn

b) because she realizes her time is running up to snatch a beta

a woman that is worth keeping wouldn't even think of slutting around. THESE girls are the minority, and their behaviour is only due to societal pressure (e.g., by religious/conservative parents).

without restrictions, a woman will go eventually go for the bad boys - its just her nature.

Yup - women with poor impulse control, high time preference and who are thrill-seeking (ie. respond strongly to dopamine) tend more to go for bad boys.

Not coincidentally I think, these traits are also associated with sociosexual unrestrictedness (promiscuity)

"Nice Guys"^TM who are too attentive to the girls' needs and spend too much time/effort on the girl... are just boring. They look like they don't have much else going for them aside from the girl, and most people can detect that.

Women with low self esteem feel like they deserve to be treated like crap. They can not be with a man who treats them with respect, because they don't feel like they deserve it. They might like it in the beginning, but they will quickly grow to mistrust and hate the guy. After all how can anyone love her if she is unlovable.

Here are some of my own theories:

They are attractive (The women I know who continuously get in and out of relationships with bad boys - even if the women are past their prime - are women who have managed to keep their looks as they age. The uglier women are more likely to just settle down with a Beta)
They have been sexually/physically abused (so bad boy behavior is a norm to them, rather than an aberration)
They lack common sense.
