Not just by men, and not just of gay men. Even being suspected is enough in many places. This is tragic, pointless, and I really hope we can do something. Any suggestions?

Just goes to confirm that men's greatest enemies are often other men, and that "the patriarchy" may well mean there are men at the very top, but whilst they may put themselves first, they put women second and often persecute other men. An example was in the UK, where a patriarchy made male homosexuality illegal but ignored the female variety completely.
