People here don't hate women, they hate feminists and the types who especially come onto here to lecture us about 'toxic masculinity' and rather than actually discuss serious issues that men face they want to belittle and attack us.

I removed your post because this is not a men's rights issue and doesn't really provide value to the sub. See rules 1 and 2.

I can appreciate calling for people to get along and have mutual respect but this is basically 'the Golden rule' and you didn't relate it to men's rights in a clear way.

Your post looks a lot like 'concern trolling', which may have not been your intent, but we get concern trolls here regularly. This explains part of the negative reaction you received. You didn't know that our patience has worn a little thin with posts that are similar to yours.

Finally, if you will permit me to offer some advice, I think you made some mistakes with your approach to this post an I am happy to discuss those with you if you would like.

No, people here are for rights they find are lacking.

I agree with you. It could be better if we could treat others the same regardless of gender, and go beyond the dichotomy of men and women.

But you say you've been around this sub. So I suggest you take this remark to the two police departments who won't do anything to the guy's ex who repeatedly broke court orders while a policeman told him "if it was you who did this, as a man, you would be jailed".

Or to the thousands of similar cases of men being treated as second class citizens that are being documented here.

We're not here blaming women. We're here sharing bad experiences and supporting each others. It might sound silly to you, as there are countless available resources to support women out there, but us men don't have really anywhere else to go. The courts are against us, and are very often the reason we need support. The law enforcement agencies are against us. The social services are against us. The majority of mental health professionals are hostile to men, or at the very least completely disconnected from how to properly help them.

We're very much not engaging in an oppression Olympic, here. We're engaged in support, and the sad thing is, that's probably the only place we are going to get it.
