I’m a high schooler. I was falsely accused of sexual assault.

Like many unfortunate souls, I never got a happy ending. Nobody was charged. Nobody was punished. The only resolution I got was a document stating that both parties could be expelled for talking about it too much.

That’s all. I wasn’t charged with sexual assault. He (trans dude) wasn’t charged with slander. Nothing.

Imagine if I was guilty. I would’ve gotten away with it.

What really sucks is that they weren’t punished. Every 3 hours, someone is falsely accused of sexual assault in America. I just happened to be that unlucky person.

Only 5 in every 1000 sexual assault cases end in arrest of either party. That’s too many bad people not going away, whether they’re accusers or perpetrators. That’s too many people left like me, with no happy ending. This is a serious issue for both men and women, and we need to address it together if we want it solved.
