1.) In most "civilized" nations, it is legal to surgically and/or ritually mutilate the genitals of male infants, but not female infants.

2.) Domestic violence policies treat men as the problem, even when they are the victim. A man can get stabbed by his wife, call the police, and then get arrested because he shoved her off of him when she stabbed him.

3.) Funds that are stolen disproportionately from men through taxation are spent disproportionately on issues that do not affect us, or in ways that exclude us. For instance, men make up about half of domestic violence victims, but shelters for battered men do not receive (or receive almost no) public funding.

4.) Family courts are heavily biased against men. Men are often denied access to their children while being forced to monetarily support them. Male rape victims can be forced to support their rape babies. Men can become the financial slaves of their ex-wives through prohibitive alimony rulings.

5.) Rape is defined by most governments as a crime only men can commit. The US federal government only defined rape as something only women could experience until very recently, and still only recognizes penetration as rape. Surveys suggest that coercive envelopment happens at a similar rate as coercive penetration, however.

Those are just some off the top of my head. There are also a number of non-rights men's issues that we concern ourselves with, such as the male suicide and workplace death rates, the demonetization of men in media and academia, and the way rape accusations are handled by the public.

It does take awhile to write it all out, but here's a quick once over. (All have statistical proof and facts. If you need links let me know. A Google search usually brings it up, though)

Little to no support or funding for male rape victims.

Little to no support or funding for male victims of domestic abuse. This includes abuse shelters.

Men are discriminated against in courts, especially family courts.

Little to no support or funding for prostate cancer despite it harming nearly as many people as breast cancer.

The current anti-male mindset the mainstream western media is in.

Unrelated to your question, I apologize.

Recently I went on a feminist subreddit and asked a genuine question, because I wanted to educate myself more on a certain subject, but needed a little help.

I was immidently attacked, accused of baiting, trolling, etc. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed to see the same reactions happening here.

I like to think that the MRA movement isn't like feminism, but it seems we're getting closer every day.

If you want a good primer on men’s issues, The Red Pill documentary is a good watch.

An please don’t get soured on the men’s rights movement or this sub, just because you’re being attacked by a few assholes here. Some MRAs have been fighting a losing battle for decades an they’re profoundly pessimistic about future prospects. Frustration and anger can turn anyone sour after a time, so just ignore them and focus on interacting with the people here with positive attitudes.

It also touches on how the feminist movement has reduced the role of fathers, empowering women but harming children in the process.

One of the men in the video, Warren Farrell, was a major player in the early days of the 2nd wave feminist movement, but he was eventually sidelined for taking a balanced view and discussing the needs of men alongside the needs of women. He still advocates for women but has been pilloried for speaking up for men. His books are excellent.

The best introduction to the issues faced by men is probably Cassie Jaye's The Red Pill Movie. Feminists tried to ban it because it wasn't a hit piece.

Others have mentioned current struggles, but I'll mention something from the past. Everyone knows that women didn't get the vote until 100 years ago, and it's kind of implied that men have always had the vote. But my four great-grandfathers, who each fought for Britain in the First World War, were among millions of working class men who had no more right to vote than women did. But how often does that get mentioned?

See, a man would start by enlightening himself. There is a WHOLE HISTORY in this sub that you could dig through ... lots to mull over. Then you could come back and say, legitimately, "I read X, Y, and Z" on your sub and am still confused about points A, B, and C.

Only a woman, or a pandering, simpering, fatherless, soy boy would come in with your claim.
