I don’t know why he has felt the need to apologise. He is correct. The laziest people in my department are women. Most of the women aren’t lazy and work as hard as the men do (and they reap the benefits), but there are some that just don’t give as much of a shit and are always going home early or taking days off for some bullshit reason or other.

He apologized because he was under duress.

There's no way he randomly changed his mind, I've met tons of medical professionals in both the U.S. and Mexico; The women tend not to "work as hard" as men because the vast majority of women, in my observation, will want to start a family at one point. The few women that don't , can sometimes be fanatically devoted to their work , but these are the extreme minority and if we compare apples to apples, men fanatically devoted to their work, work harder than those women.

Men and women are not the same, they are complimentary to each other..... the sooner people accept this, the sooner retarded notions of "equality" can be dropped entirely.

It's a shame he backed down.
Women are physically incapable of working as hard as men.
Were that not the case, we would not have seen a division of labour in the last 100,000 years or so.

Anyone in industry knows this can be the case, of course there are always exceptions to every rule. His mistake was he didn’t think he would be quoted. It’s too bad we’re not allowed to speak our truths instead have to be bullied into some group-think circle-jerk. We’re being bullied guys, we’re being pushed around and told what and how to think that’s not a very guy thing to take lightly. This has to stop, somebody, other than me of course, has to have some courage and speak up about the hard truths, no matter how hard for some to hear.

He could have left out the whole not wanting to be rushed part, as I don’t think that has any bearing. But he’s spot on with regards to the effort gap. He’s apologizing because his livelihood is at risk, and I don’t really blame him.

Edit: when I had sole custody of my son and he was younger my own income was impacted by the effort gap. My wage somewhat stagnated for 4 years. When I was able to focus on work ( before and after ) my wage grew similar to my peers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

They don't. All but one of the top 10 producing doctors I work with are male. The ratio is about 60/40 male/female. The worst male NPs/PAs are all above even the best females. It's efficiency and speed and aggression.
