This incident was actually a mass cat fishing. Lying about your motives on a dating/hookup app is bad enough but proceeding to humiliate any men who actually remained out of attraction to the lady who organized it is completely problematic.
Why? Because this same cruel joke could never be repeated with women as the subject. It’s an enormous double standard.
Even if it wasn’t intended to be cruel that’s what it was. Humiliating several hundreds of guys just for being interested in a woman.
This type of behavior is inherently selfish. Why? Because no ethical social scientist would condone public humiliation and emotional abuse for an experiment. I mean for Pete’s sake. There wasn’t even a point to the experiment. There was no conclusive or useful data or established methodology.
It was simply a set up to belittle mass amounts of men for no reason other than it could be done and no one would bat an eye at it because the victims were guys just trying to meet an attractive girl.
That’s not Okay. It is the very definition of problematic.

What was the experiment exactly?

It was barely and experiment at all. It had no point or anything. Other than just to see how far men will go for attention and to waste their time.

Right but what actually happened?

An actress and a director got together with the help of a team to convince thousands of men from tinder that they were going to get a date with the actress. Naturally all of the men showed up excited only to be subjected to a bunch of physical tests and weird standards in what is probably the most cringe worthy display possible. Some of the guys even came from other states.

About a dozen stayed to compete. In the end, the date didn't work out.
It was just a display for her ego. Pretty sad all in all.

Ok that's fucked up and the story would be portrayed differently if the genders were swapped, but that's still idiotic.

It was basically a way of abusing men for "shooting beyond their league", wrapped up in a thinly veiled "its an experiment!" excuse.
They told men to leave if they had a girlfriend or they'd name and shame them to their family and friends.
Because women NEVER go on dates with other people to see if they can get someone better. Amirite?
Just a case of a woman being a cunt. Being a cunt isn't illegal, or the world might be a better place without feminism.

She’s a bitch.

That it's a mean way of making a point.
This Tinder experiment got to a more meaningful observation in a much more decent way. https://www.hercampus.com/sex-relationships/dating/i-joined-tinder-social-experiment-heres-what-happened

Being a woman sounds so difficult. I don't know how she does it.
No you weren't, doll. You were dealing with utilities who exist to provide you with amusement and free entertainment, nothing more.

dealing with real people...what else did she expect ?

Unicorns with penises made of marshmallow fudge, fudge penises which orgasm thick streams of of 24-karat gold bullion riding inside candy-apple red late '80s Lamborghini Countaches. That is what she fucking expected. And men failed her in delivering the whole kit and caboodle, because men are goddamned fucking sexist swine.
