I love stuff like this. Revenge, served ice cold. I hope Uncle Lyle gets a similar obituary.

Yes, true. It went viral. A relative confirmed the details given but says there is more to the story.
Newspapers usually have strict rules on their columns for births, deaths, marriages, in memoriam etc because is it very common for people to want to use them for family feuding, hoaxes, harrassment, privacy violation etc. It can get very serious e.g. stalkers can use a fake listing to recover the trail to a victim who has got away.
The paper has since pulled the story as their readers felt it is in poor taste to attack the dead, particularly in a one sided attack which would not normally have any right of reply, just before the funeral.

Why is this in the paper? Is this one of those "recently deceased" pages in a local paper?

Believing one sides accusation because they said so. Where have I heard this before.

What do I care? I put it under humor because I'm not taking it seriously.

Look! One did it! It's not at all a problem with fathers compared to women. It's a toss up!

She may have had reasons for leaving her children to be raised by her parents. Without her, Gina and Jay would not exist at all. But I'm sure they would have preferred if she just threw them in the dumpster after giving birth to them.

Are you saying they should be grateful that she had sex and conceived, whether or not she gave a shit about them?

I'm saying that Kathleen should have thrown these two pieces of trash out the moment she gave birth to them, or given them up for adoption, or had an abortion.

Why are they pieces of trash?
