After they mention incidentally that men out number women in suicides, they go on to tell a story of one particular man and his struggle. No real mention of women. Men vastly outnumber women in suicide numbers, I don’t see a problem here.

University professor here (part time but still), none of my students have committed suicide and I've only heard of a couple in other institutions.

I travel to conferences in the U.S. twice a year (They're usually crap, but it's good for networking/hook ups) and it doesn't really come up much.... however, I have noticed that young men are suffering tremendously, in part because of how horrible women have become, but also because a lot of them have been restrained far too much for far too long.

The attitude of "women first" really erodes at the innate drive in men to exhibit initiative, aggressively striving to reach the top, speaking and acting with confidence, etc.... not having these causes, IN MY ESTIMATION/GUESS, a lot of confusion and ultimately severe depression in these students.

Sigh, I wish I could do something, but I can't.

I'm sure they'll be pushing to help more women soon. The men, eh...
