Half? I'd put down good money on it that the bulk of violence in (real) relationships is committed by women against men. It just isn't considered due to a combination of women being physically inferior to men, and women having extreme favor in the justice system.

Clinton's Violence Against Women Act. The Act provided $1.6 billion toward investigation and prosecution of violent crimes, but only if they are against women.

It imposed automatic and mandatory restitution on those convicted - but only if their victim is a woman.

It allows women to go after perpetrators in civil court even in cases prosecutors chose to leave un-prosecuted!

Even the Supreme Court has held that part of the VAWA is illegal. But no matter. Individual organizations have not been successful in using VAWA to provide equal coverage for men.

And yet for all that money dumped into feminist organizations and causes, now 25 years after its first passage, VAWA proponents can point to no evidence of its success at doing so.

Yet in 2013 former NOW president Kim Gandy lied and claimed that a recent report by the Department of Justice “showed conclusively” that VAWA has reduced rates of domestic violence.

But the DOJ report showed no such thing. In fact, DOJ domestic violence expert Dr. Angela Moore Parmley has said, “We have no evidence to date that VAWA has led to a decrease in the overall levels of violence against women.”

The organization that tracks domestic violence policy, Stop Abusive and Violent Environments (S.A.V.E.), calculates that less than 2 percent of VAWA funding goes to help male victims or female perpetrators despite the fact that 50 percent of the victims of domestic violence are men.

In filing his VAWA reauthorization bill a few years ago, Senator Leahy declaimed, "A victim is a victim is a victim. We should stop setting up standards that say we will have one standard of law enforcement for one group of victims but not for another.”

But under VAWA a victim is not a victim if he’s a man. Leahy’s bill and current law ignore male victims and female perpetrators.

Australian governments gave all funding for service provision relating to sexual abuse to feminist groups. Males were excluded from services nationwide for decades as a consequence. Due to current royal commissions it's becoming pretty clear that thousands of male victims may have committed suicide through that time.

I remember reading somewhere that NOW participated in the funding of male circumcision in Africa. I remember it was hard to find a reliable source for it but found it eventually
