Maybe don't even go in there friends. They all think that I am demanding that literally all feminists in America speak out against the author. I just wanted an example of one feminist of similar academic stature who disagreed with her statements.

Apparently that person doesn't exist, or if they do exist, is terrified of losing their job if they speak out against this misandrist garbage pile.

Edit: welp, the answer to my question is that none of her peers, that they know of, have spoken out against her. They also banned me for cross posting my question here. I didn’t know they banned people for that, but apparently they thought I was brigading. I just thought maybe someone within this community had an answer as well.

Hey I have this crossposted here and to /r/AskFeminists just because I'd like an answer to this question. It is very sad that I haven't been able to find any feminists speaking out against this hateful, nasty woman. Hopefully I am wrong, and there has been some outrage.

I have a feeling if any well known members of the MRA community made the argument that women shouldn't hold office, the majority of the MRA community would speak out and argue against those evil ideas.

What I love about the /r/askfeminists response is you dont need a large name to discredit it because:

1) they discredited it personally in their private corner and anonymously. Of course they are the real feminist and not the director of women's studies at a prestigious university writing in a nationally syndicated column and the editor of one of the largest feminist papers. She is the impostor so dont concern yourself with what she is saying, it doesnt represent feminism..... WaPo just listed her credentials so you how NOT fucking feminist she is. They are the fucking expert on what feminism is and isnt not her. But on an unrelated note men suck shit and they dont mind citing the shit out of her work to prove it because she is totally a fucking feminist expert.

2) its ok for her say that and to be a director and write in the WaPo because have you heard of Jordan Peterson? This is....I SHIT YOU NOT... a direct quote in response to Jordan Peterson in their thread about an article written by an uber-feminists in the Washington Post that its ok to hate half the fucking human race and they should drop out of everything so women can finally find their strength:

He should have been fired for his ideas. Teaching bigotry and prejudice in direct opposition to the stated ethics and values of your employer is unacceptable in any professional setting. It's quite sad - and telling of how acceptable prejudice is - that the opposition to him wasn't universal.

Again she is NOT talking about Suzanna Walters who is also employed by an employer who probably the wrote the book on whats unacceptable behavior in a professional setting....such as I dunno, advocating bigotry in a national paper. She is talking about Jordan Peterson who did NOT say its ok to hate women. Yeah....that fucking happened. Thats upvoted over there.

TO answer your question OP there was a rebuttal but I cant find it. It was very lackluster and honestly in many ways shit on men even more than the original (which may well be why the washington post, the shitstain that it is published it.)
