A terrible thing to happen, but a good outcome.

She should have just hit herself in the face with an iron. That's what one of our neighbours did when I was a kid, which we know because one of her kids broke down crying at our house afterwards and told us.

She got custody. He got done for assault.

Here's another "fun" trick.

Wife giving unknowing husband anti-depressants in massive doses that actually drive husband into deep depression, then wife "encouraging" any sexual contact between husband and kids which further intensifies depression to the point of suicide or doing something incredibly self destructive.

Wife then vindicates herself by taking everything in the divorce she orchestrated.
