I hope that one day, when the 3/4th wave feminism peaks and is crushed by the resulting backlash, we look back on stuff like this and criticise it like we do the way people spoke about black people in the 19th century.

Like a post-feminist era, where it's failure is so clear that we accept men and women as being different and we can all just get along.

meanwhile in another thread at askreddit i saw people saying how it's not so bad that a female teacher is having consensual sex with a 15 year old boy..

that is after i got huge fucking backlash over saying we shouldn't vilify non offending pedophiles. Clearly, even child molesters are acceptable if they're female, but if a male even finds kids attractive, he's worse than a female child molestor. Amazing.

Men are instinctually attracted to young women. Criticizing them for this is no different than criticizing gay men for being attracted to men. Speaking of gay men, why don't feminists criticize Ian McKellin for chasing "twinks"? We all why: because this isn't about "power differentials" (young women actually have sexual power OVER men, including older ones), it's about older women trying to make it socially unacceptable to date their younger competitors.

The infantilizing of women is fantastic in that last comment. Kutcher is a man, therefore has more power than an older and more successful woman!

But if a guy says this, that's misogyny? It's good this comment gets downvoted, but still, why would you auto think this? Studies show that when you tell people they are worse than other people, they perform worse on tests and have lower self esteem. Does she think she's helping women by telling them men are better? I really don't get this attitude.
