I worked for years at a company where most of the bosses were women, where it was friendly and there was not much undermining, once the one queen bee was sent on her way. Oh, and also, the company lost money every year and went through CEO's almost annually.

This was really strange.

The presenter seemed to think that it "female solidarity" was important as a workplace concept and to be promoted. That's bizarre because it places value exclusively on sex of their coworkers and not on attributes important to business.

I've never heard about the opposite being true of men expected to have "male solidarity" in the workplace. In fact, favoritism of individuals over merits is a good way to harm advancement and success.
