You can't cooperate with Feminism because it's a meaningless superiority movement, it has no guiding thought process other than "women get more stuff and less responsibility". So think of a way to spin it as if you're talking to the greediest, shittiest people on earth and you'll understand how to dupe feminists.

The problem you'll face is that most jurisdictions OVER collect child support, so it's not just a matter of making sure the kid(s) get taken care of, but a substantial transfer of wealth from the man to the woman. A goodly number of jurisdictions believe that income between the two houses should be roughly equalized for the entire time the kids are minors, because if any one household has more money, they have the ability to leverage that to attract the kids. Given that this is usually going to put Mom on the losing end, this really means money shifts from Dad to Mom.

Of course, this flies in the face of the fact Mom typically gets primary custody, due to BITC wanting to keep Mom as their primary caregiver, so there's really not the threat of Dad leveraging his cash that they think there is.

In my personal case, enough cash changed hands that my ex-wife didn't need to work a full time job, and only worked a full time position 9 months of the last 18 years. I basically paid her to sit on her ass for a goodly portion of her time.

Citation please. What are the laws or guidelines for rulings and regulations? And what was the background out impetus for these initiatives? I don't believe it's simply that "women should stay home and take care of the kids"

Probably but you miss many of the problems with custody.

The biggest is simply men not asking for it in the first place. Idealy there should probably be some kind of awareness program as to people's options.

The second is enforcement which to a large part due to a lack of funding for the agencies that are meant to enforce it. Mind you funding enough drop off, pick-up and contact centres to make them widely accessible and the law enforcement to back up contact orders would be kinda expensive.

You've also got issues like the cost of housing and the availability of the right types of social housing. Many men simply don't have homes large enough for them to share full custody of their kids (although day contact would still be an option). Fixing that though would be extremely expensive.
