About those men's bathrooms being turned into all gender.

I think these bathroom issues are reasonably important because of what they represent. In general, I don't have any problem with unisex bathrooms etc. But many people seem to think that female-only bathrooms must be maintained, but male-only restrooms need not. I am OK with places aving men's bathrooms, ladies bathrooms, and unisex bathrooms. I am OK with places just having unisex bathrooms. I am not OK when the only options available are ladies and unisex. And the assumptions, narratives, etc. that lead to this situation are problematic.

Related to this (sort of), I have seen stories indicating that in some cases, converting a men's room into a unisex bathroom has involved removing the urinals, out of fear of "triggering" people. Urinals are convenient for men. They also help keep restrooms cleaner and use less water. All good things that should not be flushed down the toilet (ha!) simply because urinals might hurt the feels of professional victim morons.

It is a mens issue. Eliminating even spaces where you can 'relieve' yourself, slowly turning all of society into a place where you cannot go. You are not welcome, and no provision will be made for you to be there. How can that not be a mens issue?

Just googled urinals in Amsterdam. Its disgusting that men's urinals are open air like that as if they're designed to get men used to public sexual humiliation.

Yes it is a men's rights issue. If not having a place that's private to do something fundamentally necessary whilst women have more and easier access for the same thing, how is that NOT a men's rights issue? Or a HIMAN rights issue as well for that matter?

Yup, this is happening a lot in California due to a law requiring single-stall bathrooms to be unisex. The intent of the law is good (to make transsexuals, and parents with children, feel more comfortable) but if the men's bathroom is single-stall and the women's has two stalls, then it results in unequal application.

Even men's basic restrooms aren't functional. Worked retail and sometimes a male customer would do #2 in a urinal because then men's restroom only had one toilet stall. I thought that was weird/ cruel. Women usually have anywhere from 2-8 depending on size of bathroom. If the men restrooms get turned into anyone can use them - I imagine more males will find themselves in the humiliating situation where you have to go but everything is full. It's not right!
