Less than 23% of men are MRAs so that logic doesn't add up. The fact that 23% of women and 16% of men are feminists does mean that hating men isn't as popular as we think.

Easy explanation: Because it's garbage. Nobody wants to be associated with fanatical idiots who are to busy with finding western "problems" such as bathroom issues and slutwalks in order to destroy the so called "Patriarchy"while in fact totally ignoring middle eastern countries where amongst others gay men gets thrown of rooftops and women stoned for lustful activities, which is often perpetrated by the men in the society.

I don't think one follows from the other. A better use of this factoid, I think, is as support for the proposition that not being feminist, questioning feminism, being against feminism, etc. are not the sams thing as hating women, being against women, etc. Or, more simply, women and feminism/feminists are not the same thing. Also supports the related notion that feminism does not speak for all women. In fact, it speaks for a minority of women.

What are you even attempting to point out? I can only assume you're trying to give the argument "If feminism was about gaining more rights than 100% of women would be on board. Feminism therefore must be a codeword for gang warfare on men"

Why would women take strong positions when they can get men to take those strong positions for them. Same benefits, none of the risks. This dynamic isn't really something new. Men are raised by women. Most men are driven by, if not desperate for, female approval. It's very easy for women to say something like "I'm not a feminist but I won't fuck you if you don't think like a feminist", even when they don't mean it.
