In a strict legal sense, Dambrot was doing what he – and many other legal scholars – thought was correct in granting the appeal and a new trial. However, this entire ordeal demonstrates the need for reform in our justice system as it pertains to sexual assaults, specifically, the need for an alternative to the criminal system.

I'm still waiting for any Legal scholar or Feminut scholar to justify why there should be a different legal criminal standard applied to Women's Claims of sexual assault.

Why not a simple way to deal with Burglary where there is video footage saving trial - or car theft where local cameras catch the thief in action?

Why should women be exempt from the same legal standards as others..... other than there is a sentimental feminist demand for it and the hysteria of Rape Culture?

Because an allegation about "sexual assault" is not lodged to convict a man of a crime; it is lodged to validate fee fees.

I don't understand Canada's legal system. He was ordered to pay her legal fees in a criminal case? Why does she even have legal fees? It was the Crown vs. Mustafa Ururyar. If she hired a lawyer for some reason, it's got nothing to do with him.

Yes they will. Starting with the myth that women never make false rape accusations. Also this other even more pernicious myth, as spelled out here by Catherine Comins, Assistant Dean at Vassar College. From Time magazine:

"Comins argues that men who are unjustly accused can sometimes gain from the experience. 'They have a lot of pain, but it is not a pain that I would necessarily have spared them. I think it ideally initiates a process of self-exploration. 'How do I see women?' 'If I didn't violate her, could I have?' 'Do I have the potential to do to her what they say I did?' Those are good questions.'"

So. If rape occurs isn't it crazy painful and can cause internal bleeding and such? Isn't that proof? There has to be a way of determining force penetration.
