You know the southern poverty law center also declared along with the anti-defamation league that pepe the frog is now a fucking hate symbol?

In case you’re still feeling optimistic, ThinkProgress points out that DeVos has also donated to an anti-"guidance" group: the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), which has shared articles that say things like, “Unfortunately, much of the feminist ‘war on rape’ has conflated sexual assault with muddled, often alcohol-fueled, sexual encounters that involve miscommunication.”

Attacking FIRE is fucking low but the funny thing is she can't even slander properly, the idea is that you leave out the context of quote like that so that their point doesn't sound coherent or well made. The only good thing about this is it seems the mere thought of the government actually listening to MRAs in particular is causing feminists everywhere to have a collective mental breakdown and I thought it was hilarious when Trump got elected and Brexit won.

It just goes to show you that a lot of this is about money, for most of these professional activists, it isn't about men, not really, or even women. This is about the fact that they're potentially having their juicy grants and government funding taken away from their useless 'projects' that are really just designed to enrich themselves rather than genuinely help people.

I listened to 1a presentation on this, and Betsy Devos met with both sides. Those that say they were sexually assaulted and those that say they were innocent. My understanding was that she was trying to make the process more coherent across schools. I didn't see anywhere listed that she was meeting with MRAs, or only MRAs. Honestly I'm not a fan of Trump or Devos, but this seems like a reasonable thing to do if you want to fix a problem...
