Logic doesn't matter when it comes to fact vs. fiction. This entire convo, I've never said whether I agree with it or not, but only that while it's a legal procedure, it's still considered a medical procedure.
Fact: FGM was a medical procedure until 1996, regardless of your opinion.
Fact: Circumcision is currently a medical procedure, regardless of your opinion.
In short, you can claim rape or mutilation, or whatever, but the fact of the matter is it's still widely accepted. I'm circumcised, and my son was completed when he was born. Call me what you will, but I don't regret it.
