I think a good comeback is to mention that society as a whole has taken steps to protect children and we tell parents all the time what to do and not to do with their children. For example, children have to ride in the back seat with a proper booster seat, children have to attend some sort of education program, children can't get tattoos etc etc...

She has a point, just Let her raise the child the way she wants to. Molestation can not be compared to circumcision, and it's quite frankly ridiculous when people compare them like they are the same thing.
