I could understand that response, if you already warned her previously. I hate when women randomly touch me, it triggers some very negative memories, but I'll try to settle things verbally first if I can

Usually if I tell a woman I'm not comfortable with it sometimes she'll apologize, sometimes she'll get annoyed like there's something wrong with me for rejecting her, but usually she'll leave me alone and it doesn't have to escalate

If she persists even after that, then a man has to protect himself. You're not going to have white knights or police jumping to your defense to do it for you. You don't have to put up with sexual harassment, wherever you are

It's not "no big deal" or something you're ever obligated to just let slide. Personally, I'd give her a warning at least the first time; if she's just going to keep doing it thinking it's cute, thinking you don't really mind, thinking there won't be any consequence, then you have every right to get serious

I am sorry, I'll go against the grain of this subreddit and say that was a GIGANTIC overreaction and you are lucky that she didn't have you thrown out or worse for grabbing her throat. What they did was wrong but you doubled down on the wrong.

Awful lot of people in here don't understand what defending ones self is. If you get sexually assaulted YOU can defend yourself against your attacker. It doesn't matter that it's a fucking girl or two girls. Sexual assault is sexual assault and you have a right to defend yourself against that shit. If more people did that then there would be less women out there who think that they can do w/e they want to any man they want. We live in a world where that mentality is so prevalent that the majority of the police and court systems won't even bother trying to arrest a woman for sexual assault on a man and in most cases will just arrest the man. Pathetic people in here complaining about his response need to recognize that white knighting girls is not going to solve anything and certainly isn't going to get you laid.
