I don't think it's that silly. I'd say they should taxed just like any other hygiene product. I'm fine with taxing it but not taxing it extra.

I don't think it's silly. As an essential product that women can't do without, it makes sense that they shouldn't be taxed extra for it. It's not going to affect the latte sipping college graduate women, but for poor women it's just an extra cost that helps to whittle away what small amount of income they have.
